Spot the Grinch, Get a Prize

Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on a Saturday in December (through December 23) to see if you can spot the Grinch on property!

The Grinch will be lurking around the sanctuary in a bid to steal Christmas. If you spot the Grinch you will be able to grab a prize from the Grinch’s bag!

Who is the Grinch? The Grinch is the character from Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, a 1966 television special. It is based on the 1957 children’s book of the same name by Dr. Seuss. The Grinch, a cranky, solitary creature who attempts to thwart the public’s Christmas plans by stealing Christmas gifts and decorations from the homes of the nearby town of Whoville on Christmas Eve. Miraculously, the Grinch realizes that Christmas is not all about money and presents.

Walk on the Wild Side Tours are open for booking which include an animal encounter and feeding. Kick-sleds are also available!
