Social Media Manager: Full-time, year-round. We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to curate AWCC’s social media accounts. The Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing AWCC’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies. Duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. The Social Media Manager will directly report to the Director of Sales & Marketing to promote the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center via social media, as well as provide administrative office support, coordinating commercial film & photography requests/visits, event coordination and support, manager on duty shifts, and other duties as assigned. Wage is $24 per hour, DOE, with free on-site, bunk style housing included for the first 6-months of employment. A variety of benefits are offered to full-time staff, including health, dental, optical, PTO, a 403b plan with a 3% match, and 10-paid holidays including the employee’s birthday.
