Animal Curator: full-time, year-round. To lead by example, the organization and staff through hard work, dedication, appropriate appearance, and proper work ethics. Supervises the Assistant Curator, Animal Keepers, Animal Care Interns, and Volunteers. Compensation starting at an annual salary of $70,000 (DOE) with free on-site, bunk style housing included for the first 6-months of employment. A variety of benefits are offered to full-time staff, including a 403b plan with a 3% match, 10-paid holidays including the employee’s birthday, and 2-weeks paid time off in the 1st year of employment. Hoofstock Keeper: full-time, year-round. Under direct supervision of the Animal Curator and Assistant Curator, the Hoofstock Keeper performs tasks requiring specialized skills in connection with the care and maintenance of the animal collection and exhibit facilities at the center. Wage is $23 per hour pay rate, DOE, with 10 paid holidays and 2-weeks paid time off in the 1st year of employment. Free housing available on-site; bunkhouse and bunkbed style housing.
