Join AWCC and the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday, March 31st for an Easter Egg-xtravaganza!
Event highlights include an Easter egg hunt, photo ops with the Easter Bunny, hay-rides, Easter porcupine puppet show, animal enrichment keeper chats, and watch as staff feed special treats to the resident animals of the AWCC. This event is free with purchased admission or membership. Located at Mile 79 of the Seward Highway, AWCC is a non-profit sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, research, and quality animal care.
Local restaurant Birch & Alder will also be at AWCC for the duration of the event, offering a variety of delicious brunch items available for purchase.

- 11:00AM – 11:30AM Easter Egg Hunt – Location: Inside Bison Hall
- 11:30AM – Easter Porcupine Puppet Show – Location: Inside Bison Hall
- 12:00PM – 12:30PM Easter Bunny Photo Ops – Location: Inside Bison Hall
- 12:15PM to 3PM – Hay Rides – Location: Leaving every 30 minutes outside of Gift Store
- 12:30PM – Bear Program with the Easter Bunny – Do brown and black bears enjoy Easter eggs? Come find out! Location: Bear’s Amphitheater
