All year long we offer our “Walk on the Wild Side” tour. This hour and a half long experience provides guests with an in-depth peek into the lives of the animals that make their homes here at the AWCC. Visitors will learn their individual histories as well as what sets these species apart. Tour also includes a hands-on animal feeding experience.
2pm – 3:30pm $125/per person Ages 10+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
Beginning June 1st, the sanctuary offers two different animal encounters for guests to choose from.
Moose Encounters allow our guests to get up close and person with our moose! Visitors will get the chance to feed browse to the moose right out of their hands as our knowledgeable staff share information about their behavior, diet, and wild counterparts. Tour operates rain or shine.
Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun 10:30AM – 11:00AM $25/per person (admission not included) All ages welcome!
Bear Encounters give guests a look into the training and feeding of our resident bears. Assist one of our animal care staff as they deliver a daily meal to our bears, whilst teaching about the animal’s diet, behavior, and history. [Disclosure: there will be no physical touching of bears.]
Mon/Wed/Fri 3:45pm – 4:14pm $125 (Admission Included) Ages 12+ (Ages 12 – 17 must be accompanied by an adult.)
