Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree now that the holidays are over? Why not donate your Christmas tree to AWCC? They’re like giant, fluffy toys for our resident animals!

Animals like Pip the rescued moose love to kick, play with, and nibble on Christmas trees that supporters donate to the center. Trees provide a great source of enrichment for a wide variety of animals here at AWCC. Elk love to charge them, muskox love to headbutt them, and reindeer love to play with them!

Please note that Christmas trees must be all-natural, untreated, and be sure all decorations and tinsel are removed. You can drop trees off any time from 10AM-3PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday this winter. Upon arrival at the ticket booth, let the agent know that you have a tree for donation and they will direct you to the drop-off location at the sanctuary. Alternatively, if you need to arrange an alternative drop off time, email info@alaskawildlife.org.

Thank you for your support!
