Our incredible partner, FLOAT (For Love of All Things), has created a beautiful design in honor of the memory of our dear moose, Arnold. FLOAT will donate $8 for every item of Arnold clothing purchased to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to aid in our mission of providing quality animal care, education, research, and conservation awareness to the 49th state.
Arnold was a beloved member of our resident animal crew, arriving here at the center in 2018. He was left abandoned after his mother was struck by a vehicle. Being too young to fend for himself, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game made the decision to enter Arnold into our care where he remained for the rest of his days. Arnold was quite a fa-moose fellow, appearing in many television shows and even Hollywood movies, as well as countless memories made by our guests from around the globe.
This design featuring Arnold’s ‘boopable snoot’ captures his sweet nature and is a beautiful tribute to our sweet boy.
