Memorial Day weekend, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is starting their summer animal program schedule!

The animal programs are free with admission and are a great way to learn and see our resident animals. Summer schedule is:

Learn about Lynx @ 11:30 am – located behind the Gift Store

Porcupine Chat @ 12:30 pm – located in front of the Gift Store

Say “Hi” to Kobuk @ 1:30 pm – at the bear cub’s enclosure

Birds’ Words or Meet the Foxes @ 2:30 pm (this is an alternating program) – behind the Gift store or in the red barn

Bears’ Business @ 3:30 pm (both brown and black) – on the BEARS Boardwalk

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center looks forward to seeing all of our visitors this summer enjoy the Center and our resident animals.

Discover the WILD of Alaska and come meet the locals! Walk on the Wild Side Tours are available year-round and include an animal encounter. Summer Moose Encounters & Bear Encounters are available for online booking. Book early to ensure your spot!
