Starting September 15 the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center will begin charging for bags in accordance with the plastic bag ban in the Municipality of Anchorage.
Each bag will cost $0.10 per bag up to $0.50 per transaction. No member or military discounts can be applied towards this charge.
