As a member of the AWCC not only will you receive some wonderful benefits, but you will also be happy to know that 100% of the proceeds go right back into caring for the animals and the operations of the center.
You may have noticed that we’ve made some changes and updates to our memberships. Please read-on for details.
Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not for use by schools, daycares, tour operators, commercial or other organizational groups.
The Lone Wolf Annual Membership Pass grants you annual general admission to the AWCC for one year from the date of purchase. A photo ID that matches the name on the membership card must be shown at the ticket booth for entrance to the sanctuary.
The Wolf Pack Annual Membership Pass grants you annual general admission to the AWCC for two named adults and up to four named dependents ages 4-17, (children 3 and under are free) for one year from the date of purchase. Cardholders must be present, and a photo ID of the individual(s) listed on the membership card must be shown at the ticket booth for entrance to the sanctuary.
The Soaring Eagle Annual Membership Pass grants you annual general admission to the AWCC for two named adults, up to four named dependents ages 4-17, and up to two named guests (children 3 and under are free) for one year from the date of purchase. Cardholders must be present, and a photo ID of the individual(s) listed on the membership card must be shown at the ticket booth for entrance to the sanctuary.
The Herd Annual Membership Pass grants you annual general admission to the AWCC for two named adults, and each adult may bring up to four unnamed guests, for one year from the date of purchase. Cardholders must be present, and a photo ID of the individual(s) listed on the membership card must be shown at the ticket booth for entrance to the sanctuary.
Don’t forget — with your membership, you receive a membership card good for one year from the date of purchase. When you purchase a membership online, we send your pass to your address via the post office. Please allow two weeks for your pass to arrive. If you want to visit ahead of receiving your pass, please bring your receipt or proof of purchase.
As part of your year-long membership, you will have access to quarterly virtual animal updates with AWCC Executive Director, Howie, that may include additional AWCC staff and special guests.

Another membership enhancement is a 10% discount on all purchases in the Be Wild Gift Shop (excludes sale, food, and MuskOx® items). Please be prepared to tell the store clerk before payment that you are a member and show your membership card and matching photo ID.
Tour membership benefits include 20% off Walk on the Wild Side tours, and 20% off Bear Encounters. Please call 907-783-0058 x 8 or email events@alaskawildlife.org to purchase your discounted Walk on the Wild Side Tours and Bear Encounters. Based on availability.
We offer MILITARY a 25% DISCOUNT off of all memberships. Please show your military ID to receive the discount.
