Bring mom for a special visit on Sunday, May 10, 2026, and spend the day exploring the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center together. Enjoy the sanctuary at your own pace by walking, biking, or driving the 1.5-mile loop through 200 acres of spacious habitats where animals feel at home and showcase their natural wild behavior as education ambassadors for their species.
Guests often spot brown bears swimming, moose strutting, wood bison roaming, muskox playing, wolves posing, porcupines climbing, and more. Every visit offers something new and wild to discover.
To make the day even sweeter, mothers receive 10% off purchases in the Be Wild Gift Shop on May 10.
