AWCC Birthday Celebration

We’re celebrating another wonderful year of wildlife conservation and the birthdays of all the residents who call AWCC home! Join us for wildlife themed crafts and activities. Learn all about North American porcupines during a presentation featuring one of our resident porcupines. We’ll wrap the celebration up with a party fit for a black bear. Kobuk the black bear will receive a selection of birthday themed enrichment while a naturalist shares information about bears and quality animal care at AWCC.
Schedule
- 11AM – 3PM: Crafts, Activities, and Biofact Table in Bison Hall
- 12PM: Porcupine Presentation on deck and lawn by Bison Hall*
- Presentation will be moved inside Bison Hall if the weather does not cooperate
- 1:30PM: Kobuk Birthday Enrichment & Naturalist Chat at Kobuk’s Habitat
