2nd Annual Hold My Bear Event

The AWCC is partnering with local favorites, Girdwood Brewing Company and Amanda Rose Warren, on an exciting [and refreshing] event! Join us at Girdwood Brewing Company on June 26, 2025 from 3PM – 6PM  for the 2nd Annual release of Hold My Bear, a refreshing Helles Lager just in time for summer fun. This tasty beverage is crafted with only the finest of German hops and malts and is perfectly delicious. Bonus, longtime friend of the sanctuary, the incredible Amanda Rose Warren designed the label art.

• The 2nd round of this special partnership features door prizes that will be drawn every 20 minutes!
• The AWCC Education Team will do a Bear Safety Presentation highlighting: Bear 101 – learn all about bears, bear safety training and the importance of knowing what to do if you encounter a bear, bear educational activities, practice what to do if you see a bear, and possibly a bear spray demonstration.
• Be sure to come hungry, there will be food trucks on site. Izakaya serves up ramen bowls and light Japanese fare. The Hungry Deckhand is famous for their massive sandwiches.
